I reverted back to XP from Vista, and now i dont have audio, it is greyed out in box and nothing in the tray at bottom right hand side.Belarc says i dont have Multimedia or Disply. In device manager all sound have no yellow against them but the pci and video controller do.I have an E-machine E4056
but the emachines site is not very helpful. I have been looking at last threads and they ask what motherboard is in. S Belarc tells me its this one: Board: Intel Corporation D101GGC AAD54032-300.

I would say that possibly you have to install XP drivers.

Will they be on the XP installation disk?

I think this is the motherboard manufacturers site for your motherboard

select your operating system, whatever version of XP you have reverted to, download the motherboard manuals first, at foot of download page, might tell you how to install drivers/utilities etc. I think your motherboard has integrated sound and graphics, but the manual should tell you, then you can download and install what's required for whatever version of XP you have.
