Beep Code

Using an L7VMM board, everything working fine, I removed the AMD 1800 CPU, and installed an AMD 1700 CPU to check if it was working. When I rebooted all I got was a long beep that repeats endlessly. It is Phoenix BIOS but this beep does not appear as an error code anywhere I can find. When I replaced the original CPU the same thing then happened. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

It's memory that is not seated properly or missing even.

Pheonix took over Award which may be where your problem in finding beep codes may have arisen.
