Beagle.X and spoofed 'from' address

  B1ggles 11:15 27 May 04

I've been getting, once or twice a day for the last three weeks, email with the Beagle.X virus. NAV stops it, so it's not really a problem, just annoying.

But I understood that Beagle.X, like many of its kind, 'spoofed' the 'from' email address. But every single one I have received is 'from' the same email address.

Why would this be? Does it mean that person is the source or just that Beagle is lacking in imagination? Does it choose just one address for each infected PC and use the same one every time?

Is this stuck in your restore system, hence keeps repeating itself!.

No, they are all individual emails with different dates and content. Only the 'from' address is the same.
