I have Acer Aspire 5003wlm laptop which is about three years old. I have a Panasonuc plasma tv which is a year old. My question is can I buy a cable to plug into my laptop and tv so I can watch BBCi Player on my tv.

Depends on the connections on your laptop and TV what have you got.

Whgat the inputs are on the TV in addition to the usual SCART
HDMI or D socket or RCA. S Video
and then out puts on the Lappies- S Video/ D socket/RCA[not likely this one on the lappie.
Then we can advise.

You don't have to use just a laptop

If you already have a
Nintendo Wii or a
Sony Playstation 3

There are various inputs on the TV that's not the problem it's the laptop. The only connections on the laptop which I think I could use is a line in jack, mic in jack and speaker/line-out/headphone jack. They are coloured blue/red/green. Don't know if this is any help.
