BB modem vs dial-up modem

I've recently upgraded from dial-up to BB.

My external BB USB modem is connected to the 'phone socket via the ADSL end of a filter/splitter. The internal dial-up modem is disconnected.

I've just realised that because I ocassionaly send and receive faxes via the PC I need to re-connect the dial-up modem.

If I re-connect the modem to the telephone end of the same splitter will it work or will 2 modems using the same 'phone socket interfere with each other?

Also, if both modems do work, will I be able to use the dial-up modem at the same time that the BB connection is 'on'?

As long as you plug the dial up modem into the line via a filter (as per normal phones) you won't have a problem.

Oh - and you will be able to use them at the same time.

Arthur

Thanks. I'll re-connect tonight.
