Battery Cells

Hello all,

Quick question.. I'm purchasing a new laptop, how many battery cell's should I be looking at to get around 2-3 hour use with an average work load (ie word processing, listening to music, maybe a film). If my memory is correct the majority that I've seen have 6 cells, is that adequate or should I be looking for more?
Thanking you in advance.

Its not just battry cells, but also the type of CPU how setup and many other things tha make it run longer on battery

well the standard spec I'm looking at is Intel Core 2 Duo about a 1.6, 2Gb Ram, running Vista. Pretty much all manufacturer websites will say they last about 2.5hours, but that is debated with various reviews on various laptops. I just want to know if there's anything else I should be looking for, as this is my 1st laptop

If you can get your hands on the mah, eg 4400mah, rating it would tell you. The higher the better.
