Batch Files

I am trying to make a batch file for win xp that will copy pictures from my website to a users hard drive. I am testing it with just 1 picture first.

Here is the test:

copy /Y "click here" "C:\Documents and settings\%username%\My Documents\My Pictures"

I am trying to copy IMG_0005.jpg from to the users my pictures folder.

When i run it I am told that the file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect.

What is wrong?

I think it is the "%username%" bit.

imply that there is a problem getting the file from the server not putting it on the hard drive.

I will change that bit and try again

that click here bit should say

I'm pretty sure the copy command won't copy from a web site - it's not an address that the copy command understands.

there another way of doing it then?
