Not enough information here Garthy for anyone to give you a reasonable answer. You need to be more specific about your setup, what RAM you currently have, what maximim RAM your motherboard can handle, number of slots etc. If you don't already have that info obtain it by downloading and running BELARC Advisor from here click here OR SIW from here click here

Not in any meaningful way - assuming what you have now is working correctly.

If it's faster, and your motherboard can cope with faster RAM - it may make a very marginal difference - but I suspect you would hardly measure it, let alone perceive it.
