can anyone help with this one? when booting (duel) 98se//xp ,if i select 98se the following message pops up
bad command or file name

path not found-:\command.com
path not found-:\extract.exe
path not found-:\readme.txt
please insert win98 start up disk 2.yet when xp is selected no problem

Are you able to get into win 98se? If so open notepad or wordpad then open autoexec.bat which is usually in c:\windows and find the line which starts "set path" or "path" and type "rem" in front of it. Windows doesn't actually need the file autoexec.bat. you could also find the file autoexec.bat and rename it to autoexec.old and restart your computer.
