I am running XP Home and have installed the Backup utility for XP

When I run the backup it verifies possible places for saving the backup but it does not identify my CD R drive. It chooses my floppy drive and if I put a disk in it will start to backup

I want to backup to CDs but am not sure exactly what to do

Can anyone help please?

Phil

I also use XP and regularly back up for 4 users ("Everyone's Documents and Settings") to a 250mb ZIP disc.

Usually takes around 180mb for the complete back up.

click here, not free ($30), but worth it for such an important task. Another one to consider is Backup To CD-RW ($39) click here

PC Advisor's Issue 111 cover disk includes AceBackup 2003 to make or restore secure data backups and archives.
