Backup and Transfer of OE settings

I am about to change my computer. Both the old and new computers run XP with SP2 and OE6. I want to transfer all my OE settings including emails, accounts and address book from the old to the new computer. Currently I always backup the “Outlook Express” folder (D & S\ Owner\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{Identity No.}\Microsoft\Outlook Express) to CD-RW so that, in the event of a crash, I can reinstate it. However, would it be possible to delete the “Outlook Express” folder in the new PC and replace it with the backed-up version from the old PC?

I am giving my old computer to a neighbour. His current PC runs ME with OE5. Where do I find his OE settings and will I be able to transfer them easily from his old PC to his new (my old) PC?

I think so - run a search looking for files with a dbx extension.

Thanks TomG & Crossbow7, I've printed the article and will see how it goes when I set up the new computer.
