Backup of drivers

  Marchmont 11:45 14 Aug 03

I am just about to reformat a friends PC. Is their anyway to print the list of drivers in Device manager (win 98) and also is there a way to make a backup copy of the drivers (as she may not have some of them, she's not that organised!) or will I need to surf the net?

if you go to

Start - run and type DXDIAG

it should show everything on your pc. You should then be able to save all the information to a text file. WHich you could copy into word and then print off. But really your friend should already know whats on his pc, from disks and updates he has done.

Windrivers backup is brilliant it finds all the drivers on your computer & backs them up, & it's free from www,
