OS windows 98SE - backup software Iomega Automatic backup - backing up to external Hdd
what is the best way to back up to an external HDD. I'm currently backing up my documents and files with automatic backup which backups up to my external hdd every time a document changes - problem is that to do this the external HDD needs to be connected to my computer at all times, leaving it vunerable to viruses if one should get past my Trend antivirus programme. Any suggestions on a good backup regime. Thought it may be better to only connect my external HDD when I want to back up and to back up manually. Thus eliminating the risk of infecting the external drive with a virus
Any suggestions?
