I need to make weekly backups of my harddisk. What software is recomended to do that.

backup in the search box reveals several threads on the subject. Although, if you can get a copy of PC Answers mag ( March issue ) there is a free copy of Acronis TrueImage deluxe which will do the job.

I use Powerquest Drive Image. There is Norton Ghost and a number of others including the one from JoeC.

I don't know if one is better than another. As long as it does its job, that's all that's important.

The magazine is definitely PC Answers Issue 117 for March 2003 - I know 'cos I am looking at it !! It has " World Exclusive ! " Acronis TrueImage Deluxe on front cover. : }

The one I have will do incremental Backup or full plus it can be auto run at any time
