Backing up and restoring bookmarks in Firefox

I make regular backups of my hard drive using Norton Ghost but I was wondering how I make a backup of my bookmarks in Firefox ?

I want to transfer them to another PC and the clone 'image' isn't an option as there's another operating system on that PC.

I have seen this but I can't find the 'Import and backup' link ?

I'm running Firefox 5.0 by the way.

Cheers.

"Well this is embarassing" as FF would say.

I could have sworn there was a Bookmarks Manager/Export to HTML etc in FF5.

Anyway, Mozbackup is easier.

Or Tools/Setup Sync

I used to use that in earlier versions of firefox but I didn't see it in this latest version (5.0)

I've just downloaded and installed MozBackup and I'll try to transfer my bookmarks on to a memory stick tomorrow and see if it will transfer to the other PC.

I think I may have to install MozBackup on the the PC as well.

Also I didn't know what the Setup Sync - now I know although I will stick with MozBackup - cheers.

Try this. Click on the firefox tab then right click bookmarks.

It's been changed in FF5. On bookmarks click on show all bookmarks. This opens a new library window and at the top there is import and backup.

robinofloxley - MozBackup worked on the new PC i.e. I transferred my bookmarks from my main PC to my spare PC with no problems.

rdave13 - sorry I don't know what you mean by clicking on the Firefox tab.

Woolwell - Thanks that advice worked although I also like using MozBackup.
