Backing up Microsoft Office Short-cut Bar

  xania 12:23 10 Jun 07

Running XP Pro SP2 & MS Office 2000. OS is running on my C:\ drive and MS Office on my Programs F:\ drive.

How can I back up my Office Short-cut bar. I used to be able to find all the items in:

F:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Shortcut Bar

but this now holds a very old version and I want to be able to restore the current version when I reinstall Windows.

Is there a shortcut to it in Start > All Programs > Startup? If so right click > Properties, 'Target' should point to where it is.

It's in Documents and Settings.

Hi VOG. No, thought of that - it points to the program F:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE. But where does the program store the data?

Hi, I am Spartacus, that's where I expected it to be and 2 of them are indeed there - but I have 8 pages of shortcuts, so where are the rest of them?

Sorry, Brundle, I think you mean the one in Documents & Settings, but no - see earlier reply.
