Backing up data to the net

Does anyone know of a simple and cheap system for backing up date to the internet, suppliers etc?

A Broadband Plusnet account comes with 250 Mbytes of webspace. I backup a few smaller files of a few MB to my NTL webspace, but it is not very practical. CD is far quicker and cheaper.

A search on google for online data storage will produce oodles of returns, most offering a few mbs free, and greater capacity for a charge. As has been said, online storage is only cost effective if you aren't storing more than a few mbs(pics, etc)as uploading is slow(even with ADSL,etc)I got unlimited storage capacity with my ADSL package, but have only ever used a couple of hundred mbs total,as I was curious to know if I could. ;-)
