Backing up on D and transfering back to C drive

Hi yesterday I backed up from C to D drive.
I deleted C by using the Samsung tool.

On D is also the Vista OS back up, should anything ever go wrong.

A large amount of space has been used upto 90GB more since the back on D.

How do I tranfer or Copy them back to C. I went to the same tool to transfer but it says no files have been backed up?
I Cant find my 900+ photos on D?
OS Vista.

This direct download (totally free) should find and recover your photo's, but not so sure about your other stuff.

What program did you use to make the backup?

OS Vista, the one in Control panel.

Opend up the computer and looked at the drive info seems wrong to me.

Local drive C 3.73 Gb Free Of 28.4GB?

Drive D 97.4GB of 111 free.
Now thats right for D Drive.

The Samsung R610 Comes with a choice of 120/350 HD
Not suer what mine is but the above C Local drive seems odd.

I got it wrong there was only slither used on D Drive before I did all this it didn't even give a reading so only 14GB has been used up.

I am closing this thread. Doing a full system restore back to last year.
I am getting confused with it and will see what happens I can get most photos back of my sons as they have backed up most that are important.

I have been away, sorry to disappear ...

OK, but you should keep that download I gave, it is a very very useful little program for recovering lost/deleted photos. even from a drive that has been formatted!
