Hi, I have Windows XP Professional and I would like to change the background of my folders instead of having just a blank white background. I have tried searching the menus but I can't find an option to do this. I know that this can be done in Windows 98SE though. Regards.

Any other easier options apart from opening up desktop.ini all the time?

A tweaking program such as tweak xp allows you to do this easily. Tweak XP has appeared as full version on many mags recently.
