'Back' button on Internet Explorer with forms

When carrying out a search on a particular website and when having looked at one result of the search, upon clicking the 'back' button on my browser I get a page telling me I have to resubmit my search form.

How do I avoid this message appearing and simply get the results of my search back again? (Why can the computer not store the search results in its memory?)

I believe it's some security feature and, since this problem never used to occur on my previous computer, I assume there must be a way of turning it off?

Thanks for any help.
