How do I do a complete back up to CDs

Personally I use a program called DriveImage which backs up the entire machine to a set of CDS so if the worst scenario happens and your hard drive fails I can restore everything. It can also backsup to a hard drive partition so you can restore your setup if you make a mistake, get a virus etc

I use a programme called Acronis. It was a free programme on the cover disk of PC Answers Issue 117 for March 2003. Very Good. But, remember, if it is backed up to CDRs it is only as good as the time it was backed up. If, like me you back back up your personal files separately, regularly, then that isn't a problem. My C: drive only contains the Operating System and Programmes. No personal files, they are all on drive D: It is good insurance, as since doing a backup my computer has behaved itself.
