That Awful Blue Screen

  Cesar 09:50 05 Jun 03

I recently had my memory upgraded and the computer worked fine, the next day the computer crashed and the blue screen appeared, I couldn't switch the computer of or do anything, I ttk it back to the shop and it was discovered that the new memory chip was faulty and was replaced, the problem is this how do you use the System Restore Facility when the computer is frozen, thank you in anticipation.

You can't, the XP Restore facility is only useful if you have a working (or at least half working messed up) machine. If the Pc is locked up/frozen or won't boot you can't use it. That's why other forms of backing files up are highly recommened.
