Can anyone suggest a good free converter, all the trial ones leave a watermark.
I am using WIN7 and will only need to use this converter on the very odd occasion so do not want to purchase one.

Don't you have any dvd video burning software on your pc that will accept input of avi files and burn to dvd disk as a dvd video disk or also convert the avi files to dvd format to save on your hard drive.

Maybe something like the free dvd flick will do what you want, accept input of avi and output to hard drive in dvd format and also burn that from hard drive to dvd video disk, flick will use image burn to complete the disk burning part if needed.

The dvd video burning software does the conversion to dvd format as part of the disk making process, or saving to hard drive in dvd format if you want to just convert and save to hard drive.
