AVG shield alert - trojan

Hi

My AVG shield alert is popping up with a trojan for the below file name:

C:windows/system32/winlogon.exe

This virus threat shows up twice for some unknown reason.

From searching on google it seems like this is not actually a threat.

Please let me know your thoughts as soon as possible, as this is a fairly new laptop i have bought and this threat is frusrating me.

I would be tempted to leave it and download and update malwarebytes and run that..

C:windows/system32/winlogon.exe is usually a genuine Microsoft program for signing you in to other programs.So I would be very careful as to what you do.

This windows file is infected by a trojan horse called:

Win32/PePatch.ao

Can anyone advise as to how to remove this infection.

Avg will not heal/delete the virus as it cannot delete this windows file which is needed.
