AVG Question

  David-292376 11:54 25 Jan 07

I am using the free edition of AVG Antivirus, and I have noticed lately that
the daily scan only takes 5 minutes, it used to take over 30 minutes.
I watched it scan this morning and it only scanned the documents and
setting, it used to scan all the files. I have checked the settings and it
is set to scan all the files.
Does anyone know how to set it to scan all files.
Many Thanks

when the scan finishes you can check the configuration used. I think the default is all drives, and 'Infectable files only' ticked at the bottom.
You can't change this in the free version, but you can set up your own custom scan that includes all drives and "check all files" - which will of course take much longer.

Hope it helps.
