avg problem

Hi all,

I recently used a restore point on my computer (windows xp)and since then AVG is not working. I cannot go back on my restore point and cannot uninstall it even in safe mode. I tried reparing it and installing it again but still does not work.

How can i uninstall it and reinstall it again?

Have you downloaded a fresh copy from grisoft and tried again

download the two programs above and run them both

You have to switch it of first.Right click it on the quick start,and press quit AVG control centre.Then try to delete it in add remove.

of interest, to which date have you 'restored'? and which version of AVG have you got ? 7.1 or 7.5?

how does this help me remove it?
do i just run the program?
