AVG problem ??

Got back to PC to find AVG6 warning of virus in 'Sytem Volume Information' (hidden folder)
I can unhide the folder but can't get into it.
so how do I check this as access is denied

I turned off system restore and scanned with AVG but didn't report finding anything and nothing in *Vault*

the problem was a virus within your system restore, which AVG can't get to.

the solution is to turn off system restore, which will delete all your restore points, along with the virus. (which you've already done)

it told me there was a virus - but on doing scan it didn't say it had cleared same ;
probably clear - so will close post as RESOLVED for now.
