AVG Internet Security 9.0? Is it worth upgrading to from free version.

If you are a home user it will make no difference. The problem these days are mainly from Trojans which the user inadvertently allows to run. Keep AVG free or use Microsoft Security Essentials which is also free.
There is never any need for a home user to pay for any conmputer security.

Not sure if still the same price.
I would agree with what GANDALF <|:-)> said but If you want that little bit of extra protection Maybe pay the one off payment for malwarebytes.

Thanks very much for your advice. If i use MSE and Malawarebytes do i still need Ad-Aware running.

I wouldn't bother with adaware but download the free version of malwarebytes (update and run to begin with and then run once a week-delete all it finds) and refrain from hitting the Pr0n sites with vigour and accepting 'free' offers to scan/fix your registry of your computer.
