AVG and 'healable' Trojans

The other day my copy of AVG found a Trojan, which I transferred to the 'Virus Vault'.
Looking at the vault today I clicked on the 'info' option for this trojan. It informed me that the trojan was 'healable'.
What exactly happens to a healed trojan - isn't it better to leave it in the vault, or better still, delete it if possible?

Or am I missing something here?

If you dont need the document that contains the trojan then delete it. Why leave it hanging about?

Still don't know what happens when 'heal' is selected, as I tried it and was told it can't be healed!

So I'll delete it.
