I've got AVG free edition on my notebook. Most times when I log on ,a message opens from AVG,telling me about the benefits of upgrading, and that I need to upgrade for 2011.This message never appears on my other laptop.it started in Oct,which is abit early for 2011??Should I be concerned about the validity.Ive just ignored it, andhavent clicked on any links. My AVG runs fine, and updated daily.Anyone know of a scam,or am I just worrying??Have had a virus before pretending to be Antivir solutions...so am wary!!Thanks for any comments

2011 version came out either early October or late September.
Ok just found my thread 28th september it came out.

Ive not had any bother with the 2011 version but others have.
So either run the update now or wait,it is up to yourself.

Could be a setting changed for update.

If your worried uninstall avg. run avast free maleware byets etc. see if they say anything then scrap avast and install avg.
