AVG 9 -disabling linkscanner risks

  jackwalsh 12:11 17 Nov 09

Hi,as with a lot of people,I've been having problems with AVG 9,slow/freezing browsing etc.I have now disabled AVG's linkscanner,as suggested by several people, and all seems back to 'normal'.I use the free AVG 9,ZoneAlarm and Windows Defender to protect my pc,including regular scans/disc cleans/defrags etc. Will my pc be adequately protected, with the above measures in place, until AVG sorts out their problems with AVG 9 ? Thank you for any help regarding this issue

If you only have AVG and Windows Defender you may have some problems.
I would also download Malwarebytes free or Superantispyware.
