Hi recently i started to et pop up msgs in my anti virus program saying something like cannot access due to authication certificate. So i tried uninstalling then reinstalling but that didnt wrk so i eventually uninstalled completely and installing AVD instead but after doing this i got similar msg, so eventually after coming close to chucking my pc i did a full reinstall of the system thinking tht would let me start from the beging but i feel its gotten worse still getting the pop ups from avast and also pop up about runtime errors.
one more thing i got this pc from tint and forgot how to get rid of the supanet tht comes installed can anyone please give advic on this as well?

Thanx in advance

Do a system file check - have your XP CD handy.

Thanx for the advice but i'm still having the same problem, i did a system file check and everything was ok and i tried downloading the latest patches but they just kept failing to install.
Anything else i could try?
Thanx in advance

So you don't have an up to date system? WURT, DialAFix. click here, click here

Try one, reboot, try updates, if no luck try the other.
