after ive scanned with avast im getting a report with alot of files etc on saying unable to scan? why is this and how do i scan them ?or doesn,t it matter

If you schedule a boot time scan you should then be able to scan these mentioned files. If you follow the link below it will show you how to do this, hope it helps you.

If you look carefully at the report and the files it cannot scan you`ll probably find, as I do, that they are archive files from downloads or they are what I would term recognised safe files. I haven`t had cause to worry about them.
