Autorun Problem with Audio CDs

Windows ME Windows Media Player 9

I have made some copies of an audio CD for free distribution (permissible within the confines of the copyright agreement on the CD).

However, the copies no longer autorun as I am sure that earlier copies used to do. Neither will they run in the DVD drive, which just ejects them. If I click on the D: drive icon in My Computer, Media Player opens and plays the CD fine. I can also start up from Windows Explorer.

I produced the copy with Roxio CD Creator 5 using the Disk at once option, and finalised the CD. Any ideas if I am doing anything wrong, and if so what?

Started working OK now on the RW drive, still gets rejected by the DVD drive.

Octron Silver 40X media.

Could be the media you are burning to. You need good quality CD-Rs for audio, such as Verbatim.
