after l start up my windows xp when ever l put a cd or a game in, the autorun will not start the
game so l have to go to my computer and start from there,or from the icon on the desktop can you help me solve this problem my system is about one year old the autorun used to work fine then a few months ago it stopped, any answers to this ?.

Download and run the Microsoft AutoPlay Repair Wizard from click here .

Go to My Computer>Explore and right click on your CD/DVD-ROM drive. Click on Properties and then the Autorun tab.

You can then select how you wish Autorun to operate.

I too have had probs with auto run so I just downloaded cycoze's link and I'm getting this message. "a device attached to the system is not functioning" and in a seperate box headed "error starting program" it says the autofix file is linked to missing export kernel32dll:Get/VolumeNameForVolumeMountPointW
What's it all about Alfie ??

found out why... me on windows 98SE and this fix doesn't support it. damn !!!
