Neither my CD Drive or my DVD drive automatically run when load a disk - how do I fix this problem?

I had the same problem but it was so easily put right with the correct information, go to the Microsoft site and download a small prog. called Tweak UI when you open it you will see how to get your drives to autorun good luck

Have looked at Tweak UI but as I use Windows XP the only option is to disable autorun.

I looked at the fix but it was a bit frighening altering the Registry so I will make do as I am .

This is what ninky4 means--specially for xp.Works fine on both my xp pro and xp home systems. Lots of options to enable autorun.

Many thanks Tweak UI did the trick - was using a copy that came with a PC mag and it was not nearly so versatile - problem solved - thanks again

Mat2's suggestion is a good one its a great utility that has helped me out in the past and does not include the extra 'baggage' you get with Tweak UI.
