this might sound silly, but on the box you type in a place name and than click find, how do you delete previous entries from the dropdown?? looked all over plus tried help, still no good, now have loads of places on the dropdown that i would like to delete, any help greatly appreciated.

If you do a registry search you will find them.

Sorry I can't tell you where as I no longer use the program but I set the key as a favourite in Reg Editor.

Navigate, using Regedit, to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Automap\9.0\Find MRU

Double click the FindBox and Place entries and delete the values in there. Reboot your PC and the list should be gone. This is for Autoroute2002 so the "9.0" folder will be different. Remember to take the necessary Regedit precautions.

but... I think it's something along the lines of Tools > Pushpin explorer and from there you can delete/clear entries...

I think..

MAJ is spot on - but Autoroute 2001 uses "8.0" rather than "9".
