autoplay error

Hi i keep on getting an autoplay dialogue box coming up on the screen at various times, e.g on start up, playing games watching DVDs/CDs or just whilst nothing is happening when the desktop is still. I have tried running the autoplay repair wizard from microsoft but this has been unsuccessful. I have two DVD drives and multi card reader if this matters. Is there a way i can illiminate each one individually to find out the problem or can i change a registry command to solve the problem. As i say the autoplay wizard does not find a problem.

Any help would be fantastic
