I have had some problems with my PC lately and had to reinstall Windows XP Professional. Previously I had it so that I could start my computer and it would log in automatically as me. Now booting up stops half way through and I have to type in my password to log in. As I am the only one who uses my PC I would prefer for it to just sign in automatically. Does anyone know how to do this?

Remove the password you set?,if you wont it to just boot to desk top you dont need a pasword.

Go to control panel /user accounts click you account and remove password, you have to type in the pass first before you can remove it.

Same thing, and two 3 minute responses aren't bad!
