Automatic Colour in Excel 2003

In Font Color, how do I change the default Automatic Colour(Black), to some other colour of my choice?

Highlight the text then Format, Font, and click the arrow to the right of where it says 'Automatic' and choose a colour.

Sorry, that was for Word. Almost the same in Excel but it's Format, Cells, Font tab then it's the same.

I don't think you can because colour pallettes are stored with each bworkbook.
