Audio and Visual PC connections

Please can someone advise. I have bought a media centre PC but although I manually tuned it (no stations were found on autoscan), the picture is not good. The aerial is a communal one as I live in a flat but the picture is OK on my video and TV. Would I be better buying a booster?

The graphics card is an X800 Radeon on an Evesham XCIT Pro PC.

I have also connected an optical lead from the front of my audigy 2 ZS into my amp and also a digital coax lead from the front to the amp but neither is registering as a digital sound source when playing a DVD. I have tried different configurations on the Creative speaker settings page. Should I only use the rear digital 3.5 socket and if so, where can I get a 3.5 to RCA lead as I have not seen one anywhere.

click here for specialist cables. There are many other sites. Try Googling 'Plugs and Cables'

I have an communal aerial, and for the main connection it is o.k but I have now purchased a booster, quite suprising the difference it made on the computer. (mine boosted x10 with a gain control)

I could only get a wired version, when I looked into the wireless tramsmitters things, I found that they only transmitted the signal what was being watched on the main telly. Which is a bit of a waste of time.
