audio codec needed for windows media player 10

have signed on for broadband plus which allows me to download/stream music from licenesed sites, have tried Sonic Selector via windows media 10 player,clicked on stream ,it now shows in my playlist but when highlighted and cick on play,says,acquiring codec ,codec acquired 100%,trys to play selected track,displays error message C00D10D1,I then get displayed information box which asks me to click on codec needed or close ,clicking on takes me to micosoft site which matches my need to a download for windows media 9 and upwards (four CC or wave format I.D.161) (downloads referals 93325).This then downloads and informs me completed.I now click on play again and the whole rigmarol starts again ,retrys have produced the same results

Are all the File Types Enabled from Tools>Options>File Types tab?

If not, choose Select All>Apply>OK.

Otherwise try downloading the standard K-Lite audio and video codecs pack from:

which covers the vast majority of requirements.
