Audio chating/web cam

I have ADSL but the ISP blocks MSN audio chatting and web cam conferencing as they are the telephone company Telkom. They say it takes to much bandwidth. If I do manage to get a audio conversation going the quality is really bad. Are they blocking MSN? Is there another free way I can do audio chatting/web conferencing without these telkom guys blocking it.
