Hi, I would like to transfer music tracks from minidisc to CD and I'm told that I need some kind of audio interface to do this. The minidisc player is a Sony which has a PC link and my CD burner is also a Sony. Can anyone please advise on what I need to link up the bits and pieces. Hoping someone can help.

click here= and have a look at Sony Sonic Stage, though it may not be able to reverse the encoding from Atrac to MP3 or WMA. I personally have no experience of it.

If it won't do that, click here and you may find something else that will work.

Don't know anything about minidisc but if you can play through your computer then you can certainly record to your hard disk and then burn to Audio CD from there.

JetAudio is free and will record/play almost any type audio/video format.

Scroll to the bottom and JetAudio 6 and select Basic Download.

Once installed go to the Recording tab and select Stereo Mix and away you go.
