Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to hook up a normal full size computer keyboard to a laptop (XP Home sp2)

If it's possible would it have to be a usb keyboard, if there is such a thing?

Cheers Chris.

There should be a standard connection for a keyboard, and if the laptop has USB, then a USB keyboard should not be a problem, refer to the Laptops manual for more guidance.

g40,

There's no connection on the laptop my sister wants to put a proper keyboard on so it looks like the USB option. Thanks for the info.

Cheers Chris.

Not all new laptops have a standard (PS/2) connector - but all will have a USB port - so then you could certainly connect a USB keyboard.

Loads of USB keyboards here (and PS/2click here ones) and almost anywhere else.
