Attachments in Windows Live Mail

When I receive an email with an attachment in Windows Live Mail (The paperclip symbol appears on the far right of the screen and is not at all noticeable!)I can't find a way to run it through my anti-virus. In Outlook Express there used to be a "Save As" that appeared when I right clicked, which I could use to send to desktop and then scan with my AV, but no "Save As" option appears in WLM. Can anyone advise please?

I haven't got WLM in front of me at the moment but try right-clicking on the attachment. A good anti-virus should scan incoming emails and their attachments.

Hi Woolwell and thanks....yes I've got Avast, but when I right click the attachment I don't get an option to scan. I get a load of other options, delete, forward etc, but no way of checking??

I thought that you wanted to save it as in OE. Right click should do that.

Doesn't Avast scan emails and their attachments automatically?
