Atom Cpu Cooler

basically, ive finished my 2nd build, a mini itx htpc. Im using a Asus AT3IONT-I DELUXE Mobo click here with an integrated atom 330 processor. Im running Ubuntu Studio which performance wise is not too bad but the cpu cooler is WAY TOO LOUD. I want to know if i can replace the stock intel fan and heatsink with something low-profile (bearing in mind my case is only just able to fit it in)

..... Northbridge cooler ? I undertsnd it's the chipset that produces most of the heat.

If you do go the fan route double check the heat sink fittings for type.

All I can see on the screen shot is a huge heatsink , where is the CPU fan situated ?

I understand there is a thing called Qfan on board that controls fan speed , have you tried that ?
