Hello

I need some advices on the above combination. I am thinking of replacing my old 19" monitor with a 24" monitor. (I am thinking Samsung SM245B+.) Would there be any problem if I use the ATI Radeon X300 SE card that came with the PC to drive a 24" monitor? Do I need to get a new card too? Oh, I am not a gamer, just need a bigger monitor so I can work more efficiently.

Thank you.

T.

If you are set on buying a 24in. monitor try it with your existing card first, no point in spending money if ya don't need to...

Check if your present display card can support 1920 x 1200 maximum resolution as the Samsung

SM245B+ is listed as required a Resolution of 1920 x 1200

The ATI Radeon X300 SE will handle the 1920 x 1200 Resolution

You need to know if the card supports the resolution of the monitor
