I have changed mt motherboard MSI KT4 for a new one (I managed to damage the old one when chainging a processor fan!) and now when I look at the Processor details on boot up and also when I check properties on My computer it tells me that the processor is an XP1800+!!!!!

Can anyone help with this one?

go to the amd site enter your mobo details and it will tell you what settings to enter in the bios

Thanks - I went to the AMD web site and found that the FSB frequency of my new motherboard was set in BIOS to the default setting of 100MZ. I have now changed it to the setting of 133 (as detailed on the web site) and my processor now shows the correct speed of 2400.
