Athlon 3700 64 cpu bios settings

I've just upgraded my motherboard and cpu. The motherboard is a ASUS A8N-E ultra. The cpu is an Athlon 3700 64. I've left the bios settings all auto and my cpu runs at 2.2 ghz, I've heard they run at 2.4 ghz. Is there anything i should be doing in bios to change this?

It is the ADA3700AEP5AR 3700+ thay runs at 2.4Ghz. It is pin 754. The 2.2 Ghz models should be pin 939's click here

Do nothing, the cpu you have is a 939skt and runs more efficiently than the 754skt you are confusing it with.

The fact is it can do the same amount of work per clock cycle as the 754 skt version clocked at 2.4GHz
so is more efficient.
